Sunday Telly!

How boring is Sunday TV?

The Vicar Of Dibley - seen it in RE many a time.

Don't tell the bride - don't tell me, it's on again....

Come dine with me - that must be one of the most stretched programmes ever!

All in all I'm pretty bored. Drinking coffee, and still not dressed... Oh well!

Ganin' to toon!

"What shall we do today Ferb?"

Today started with a very bored, grumpy, and frustrated Jake. Have you ever been so bored you literally don't even want to be awake?

When the whole family surfaced, I presented them with the idea if e. Don't ask why, I just did. There's loads I love about Newcastle... The shops, museums (ok, I'm not that intelligent) and the things to look at... There's the Baltic, Sage, Tyne Bridge, and I suppose you could bring yourself to look at St James's Park!

The Tyne Bridge looking at it's best with the Bupa branding from last weeks Great North Run.

We went by train. Let's begin the rant; I understand how trains are direct, fairly cheap, and convenient, but honestly, there's more space to move about in a sardine can. Yes, it's a Saturday, yes, I knew it would be busy, but. Shoved in they foyer of the train next to a smelly toilet is not "busy".

When we arrived we were all peckish! In our credit, nobody had had breakfast, and it was about midday. We strolled around en route to intu Eldon Square (no, I didn't meant we were going in to, it's called intu Eldon Square now), but, before we got there, a smell loomed around the area. It smelled the same as Butlins, Ludo's Italian. That means one thing... PizzaHut! Who doesn't like a good PizzaHut?!?! The one on Bigg Market may not be very big (pardon the pun), but it's one of the nicest... Not like that of dingy Darlington...

We consumed our pizza quicker than someone would leave Pontins early!!we were starving, and it was heavenly. What a combination.

After "window shopping" at you know where... Eldon Square, we hopped on to the metro. You can't actually hop down there, so don't try it... Once I'd banged my head against the bloody map on the wall we realised that we needed the South Hylton train to Gateshead. What a station that is. I'm not sure if you Geordies like it, but I don't. I'd have taken a photo, but I value my phone too much. It would break the camera it's that much of an eyesore down there... We managed to escape! Wow, finally!

An amazing building near the Metro station, or at least I think it's nice...

We got lost, that's inevitable. It's clear we're not familiar with the "toon". We literally couldn't find the blooming Baltic! Upon searching, we found ourselves on the Quayside. There was people walking on the Sage! Wow! That caught my attention of course. After getting over this, we went to the Baltic. Oh joy! Since when was someone sneezing up paint on to paper art? I'll never understand

The Baltic in all it's glory

After there we went across the millennium bridge👌 saw it tilt, and strolled to Chinatown....
